Which version do you prefer Lata’s or Kishore’s ?
Lata one is better just for visuals…If I just listen, it is very even or Lata’s number has edge.
Lata’s one is definitely better just for visuals. I find Lata’s voice a bit screechy or high pitched in this one.
That is beacuse Lata’s version is comparatively faster..Just time it..Kishore’s Mukhda took 36-37 seconds..while Lata’s took 29-30 ..
Male version is Excellent.
Yogesh’s lyrics also fantastic.

I have not timed it but you may be right. May be they speeded up Lata’s version and that’s why her voice sounds like that.
I remember I used to spend a lot of time at a cassette shop and the owner used to be recording songs at high speed and I used to like that singing and they did that many years later with Akon’s Lonely. I must have patented that idea 😉
