Loved THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN and it deserves all the 9 Oscar nominations that it has received.

Not everyone will like the movie though. It is very slow paced and many might not understand why Pádraic can’t move on.

Colin Farrell was excellent and deserves the Oscar nomination for Best Actor. Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan both have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Barry Keoghan was excellent too but I think Brendan Gleeson will win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Kerry Condon is very good and deserves the nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

I think it will definitely win Best Original Screenplay. It has a good chance of winning Best Picture and Best Director too.

Tar is a good movie which makes one think about Cancel culture and abuse of power. Cate Blanchett is excellent as the manipulative and brilliant music conductor and deserves the Oscar nomination for Best Actress. She will most probably win too.

Stopped watching Everything Everywhere All at Once halfway through. Tried to finish but could not watch this ridiculous nonsensical movie anymore. It doesn’t deserve even a single Oscar nomination. Can’t believe it’s been nominated in so many categories.

Some are saying that Michelle Yeoh should win the Best Actress. If she wins over Cate Blanchett then it would be one of the worst Oscar wins ever.

All Quiet on the Western Front is a excellent movie and I think it will win the Oscar for International feature film. It will probably win in lot of technical categories. It has good chance for Best Cinematography and Best Adapted Screenplay too. The background score which at first felt a little odd is excellent and I think it should win Best Original Score.

Argentina 1985 is a good movie with good performances but I don’t think it will win the Oscar for International feature film.

The Whale is excellent and is definitely one of the best movies of the year. Not sure why it was not nominated for Best Picture and Best Directing but I think it deserved those nominations too. Brendan Fraser is excellent and deservedly was nominated for Best Actor. I think he should and will most probably win. Hong Chau was excellent too and deserves the Best Supporting Actress nomination too. I hope she wins too. Sadie Kink was excellent too and I think she should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actress too. It will most probably win for Best Makeup
