Phil Collins is my all time fav. In fact the MOST fav singer from west.
No one can imitate him.
He is is the one singer who I am immennsly influenced with.

Yeah I love that song too. I had posted it in a comment. The song is very sombre and its like nothing happens and then it suddenly changes tempo and there are those drums that I absolutely love.

My favorite song of his is Another Day In Paradise. Its about homeless people and has great lyrics and a great music video. Had posted as SOTD.

He was the only singer along with Kenny Rogers and Michael Jackson – of whom I kept track of (release of their albums) ; had collection of all the music albums and had the songs by-heart

Love the lyrics of the song you posted. Its a reality even now on Indian television – with stupid Astha channel Babas and many many more channels like that giving continuous bullshit like this ..
And people not complaining. They fall pray to it (and Yes in Cities more than in villages) 🙂

Its a reality on US television too. The Indian channels just borrowed the idea from the west.
