Rajeev Masand met filmmaker Ashvin Kumar, whose short film Little Terrorist was nominated for an Academy Award in 2005, and who won a National Award each for his documentaries “Inshallah Football” and “Inshallah Kashmir” has just come out of battle with the Censor Board again over his latest film, a feature titled “No Fathers in Kashmir”. On the surface it’s the story of a teenage British-Kashmiri girl who returns to her grandparents home in Kashmir and discovers the truth about her missing father.
