Housefull 2 continued its good run on Saturday as collections look similar to Friday and it may even have shown growth although by just a small margin. The whole Mumbai city, Thane and Maharashtra belt which forms around 25% of the all India market was hit by the Mumbai v Pune IPL match on Friday and multiplexes in this area have shown good growth on Saturday while single screens record similar collections as Friday.
This means that the Saturday figure in the Mumbai circuit is almost certain to be higher than Friday and it could eventually come out even 30-40 lakhs higher. In Delhi it is also very good as multiplexes show similar business to Friday even though the Delhi IPL team was playing. UP did show a small fall as did Central India.
The film is also likely to have dropped in the South due to the cricket but all in all its a rock solid second day for the film.
