Ferrari Ki Sawaari Picks Up On Sunday

Ferrari Ki Sawaari picked up strongly on Sunday as it collected around 5.50 crore nett for a weekend total of around 12.25 crore nett.

Sunday being a day for family audiences helped tremendously as that is the target audience for the film. The weekend is below par for the film but the trending suggests the film can hold up on Monday and come out with a decent first week total.

The weekend is similar to last week’s Shanghai but the film should be able to hold up better than that film.

The maker of Ferrari Ki Sawaari had reportedly made some negative comments on Rowdy Rathore and ironically it is that blockbuster film that has come in the way of Ferrari Ki Sawaari fulfilling its true potential over the first weekend.

Rowdy Rathore affected the weekend business of Ferrari Ki Saawari all over apart from Mumbai city and Bangalore.

“The maker of Ferrari Ki Sawaari had reportedly made some negative comments on Rowdy Rathore and ironically it is that blockbuster film that has come in the way of Ferrari Ki Sawaari fulfilling its true potential over the first weekend.”

BOI is acting as if Rowdy Rathore is their film by trying to show that Vidhu Vinod Chopra was wrong and they keep mentioning how great Rowdy Rathore is by any which way.

Now this is 45-50% jump and BOI commenting just as if its a normal jump by using words like – “picks up on Sunday”. By their standards, the heading should have been something like this- “FKS shows big jump on Sunday”

    F**k BOI.

The way they are pumping RR and undermining every other movie is disgusting and shameless.

They are pumping RR but not the numbers… So whats the use of getting provoked to their commentary?

    3 Things,

    – Normally People Bash BOI for their Commentary bcz their Numbers r Perfect & Haters don’t Doubt them.

    – Agree Or Not…BOI is The BEST among the Worst.

    – No Movie till date(And I Mean NO MOVIE) has Earned Less at the BO or has Affected it’s Lifetime Nett Prospect’s by BOI Commentary.

I think positive/negative commentary on Boxoffice of a movie affects its collections more than reviews. People go and watch a movie when they hear the movie is hit or doing well at Boxoffice and vice versa.

BOI used the word “ironically” – “and ironically it is that blockbuster film that has come in the way of Ferrari Ki Sawaari fulfilling its true potential over the first weekend.”

It stopped Ferrari Ki Sawaari from doing more on sunday but “ironically” it itself did less than FKS on Sunday 😉 They are acting as if it is 3 Idiots and it is breaking records every day but “ironically” it wont even cross Dabangg/BG. 😉

I want to ask all those Boxoffice experts who use ROI as to why the trade is being lenient on FKS? It was supposedly sold for 65 cr and the theatrical was “sold to Eros for Rs. 42 crores.” I don’t think that FKS will recover that amount. So should it not be called a flop/disaster?
