This isn’t looking good. None of the songs are any good.
Crap song . all the teasers of this film have been terrible. Farhan is a total non actor with zero persona.He seems to have taken his acting career too seriously. heard he has 3 films this year.The earlier pyaar ke side effects worked a lot due to the unconventional pairing of rahuk bose , known for parallel films and mallika who was an item girl. This one doesnt have that unconvention.
He is a good actor. Liked him in Rock On, LBC, KCK and ZNMD. Did not like him in BMB and not liking him here in the trailers. He seems to be overacting.

Has anyone seen Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula starring Milind Soman? Remember liking it when I saw it back in 2003.
I didnt like him in LBC and RO.He is expressionless and too dry and has voice issues. in KCK his non acting is the most obvious where another wooden actress deepika managed to overshadow him in even the songs. I liked him in znmd but he repeated his imran character in many scenes of BMB.

He was good in LBC as the struggler who sweet talks his way.
He was good both as the banker and as the rock singer where he got the rock singer’s body language right by copying Guns N Roses singer Axl Rose’s mannerisms on stage. His voice is different and it helped him in the Rock singer part.
In KCK he was playing a introvert so obviously Deepika will overshadow him and Deepika is no wooden actress. She is definitely less wooden than Katrina 🙂
Rahul Bose is a horrible actor. Can’t stand him.
LBC didnt work due to the uninspiring lead pair. You seem to have some soft corner for farhan akhtar 😉
I have never called katrina a thespian.so her comparison with deepika’s acting will not make deepika an actor

LBC did not work because Zoya came up with the nonsensical feminist ending. She should have shown that Farhan was just a manipulator and never shown him coming back to Konkona. He comes back to Konkona and Konkona rejects him with a lecture. Its a bit rich coming from Konkona’s character who herself is sleeping with the producer to get roles.
SRK is a overactor but Rahul Bose is a non actor. I have seen quite a few movies of his Thakshak, Mr & Mrs Iyer, Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam, Vishwaroopam and some scenes of Shaurya.
a film can work even if it has objectionable ending. LBC was a near perfect film despite the ending and may have worked with some bigger stars who have screen presence.
I am not a rahul bose fan and i dont care much about him. But i liked him in PKSE. His role is like srk in CE – self parody/deprecating humour
Farhan is a complete non-actor. Wudnt even call him competent in any films he has done till now. Plus that terribly weak voice is a bummer.
LBC’s ending was hypocritical as Sputnik said – both male n female were sleeping their way thru – how cud anyone reject other on moral grounds? But even otherwise, it needed a minimally competent actor to match up to Konakona. Even that girly Ranbir may hv justice to that role.
