When I was getting into English music, My friend made me buy “Use Your Illusion” cassette (and it was costly , RS50). It was so cacophonous that I never tried it after first listen. After 4-5 years my taste matured, I started liking some songs. I still cannot listen to all the jarring music but this is a good one. One of my favorite.
I liked this song since the first time I saw it on MTV in the early 90s. Loved the music video and the orchestra pieces and especially the guitar piece by Slash in the middle portions.
I was not a fan of Rock Music initially though. I started liking Rock music after staying with American roommates. One of them used to listen to a lot of rock music – most of it the cacophonous kind.
I like rock but on melodic side..U2 (my favoprite), Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi…
Like U2, Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi too, Also like Aerosmith, Def Leppard. Started liking Nirvana later.
