sputnik why did you change the size of the video? 😀

    • sputnik 11 years ago

Height was too big – Takes up too much space on home page. The actual video does not fill the whole height anyways – there are black bars at top and bottom.

“Casey Bowman has finally settled down. He’s happily married to Namiko (who is pregnant with their first child), living in Japan and teaching at the Koga dojo. While buying her a present, Casey is attacked by two punks. He shrugs it off, assuming it to be a simple mugging. But when Namiko is brutally murdered later that same night, Casey’s world falls apart. Stricken with grief and thirsty for revenge, Casey tracks down the two thugs who tried to rob him, but they can’t provide him with any clues to his wife’s murder. So Casey travels to Thailand, to the dojo of a close friend. His grief and anger are taking control of him and he lashes out while sparring with other students. When one of the students is killed in the same way as Namiko, Casey finally gets the clues he needs to track down his wife’s killer and unravel a mystery of grudges deep in the Burmese jungle.”

Art of the Steal looks very similar to Dhoom3 – except the fact that its a comedy and Dhoom3 will be an unintentional one.

*There is this guy working at circus
    *Bike slides under truck
    *Theft/stealing angle.

Why were you unhappy with Ninja 1?

Isaac Florentine: I felt that the concept was the wrong concept. We went more fantasy and more comic book and we relied, because we went with that concept, on CGI blood and wirework. Also, basically I think that it was the wrong way to do the movie, but it was an afterthought after we finished the movie and seeing the movie and saying, “Hmm, I wish I would have another opportunity to correct it.”

On to your views about other martial arts actors, what do you think about Jackie Chan?

Huge inspiration for me, I’d always have to get whatever magazine he was featured on for example! He made me want to get into stunt work, Parkour/Free Running and acrobatics! One of my dreams as a growing kid was to work with him. It is still there somewhere!

    And Donnie Yen?

I like what he does, he’s an inspiration. I like the way he showcases action! I like to watch his fight scenes. The hits look and sound mostly realistic. The film Ip Man for example is great! As is Flash Point, the end fight with Colin Chou, I guess has been an inspiration for many. I also liked his earlier movies like “Drunken Tai Chi”.

    What about Tony Jaa?

I think he came in at the right time, from stuntman to actor, to showcase Muay Boran, and give a fresh twist on the arts. Now he has legions of fans all over! I actually played a part in his movie Tom Yum Goong 2!

    Mark Dacascos?

I like his presence on screen, seriously underrated. I would like to see him in bigger roles. I see him as a martial artist first, but I think he’s a good actor too.

    Gary Daniels?

I was in The Mark Redemption with him. Gary is a really nice guy; he’s got a good energy, respectable. He’s also underrated, I would hope to see him in bigger things! He trains a lot, and is in fantastic shape for his age. People can’t believe the moves he can pull out at his age!

What are your top kung-fu movies?

Fist of Fury, Way of The Dragon, Police Story, Wheels on Meals, Drunken Master II, Project A, Fearless, Ip Man and more!
