Thanks for this. Jaspal Bhatti was most underrated talent .. completely ignored by Bollywood. Though his contribution to Punjabi cinema, culture and society is priceless. My favorite movie (DVD release) of him is “Jija Ji” .. a hilarious take on tough JIJA (brother in law) culture in north India.
You are welcome. Agree that he was almost completely ignored by Bollywood and Bollywood never really used his talent when it came to comic roles.
Even Ulta Pulta which used to come for just a few minutes on morning television on DD was so looked forward to by everyone. Here’s one episode of Ulta Pulta.
Have seen the reruns of Flop Show so many times. Jaspal Bhatti was a genius. RIP.

Yes I initially had the title as “Flop Show – The Best Satire on Indian Television” but then changed it as I didn’t think many would search for Flop Show – The Best Satire.
I don’t remember that many satires in Hindi. What are the other ones?
