Anubhav Sinha – The Slow Interview with Neelesh Misra

Anubhav Sinha, a movie maker whose upcoming Ayushmann Khurrana starter movie Article 15 is creating a lot of buzz. Last year he gave a critically acclaimed movie Tapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor starter movie ‘Mulk’ which was was also a commercial success. His movie ‘Mulk’ won the best film award at Star Screen Awards. So here is the maker of Ra one, Tum Bin, Dus shared his journey so far on The Slow Interview with Neelesh Misra. Born in Allahabad from majorly bought up in Banaras. He studied engineering in Banaras and started his career as an engineer. He left his job to become a filmmaker. He moved to Mumbai. He started his journey from a television series ‘Sea Hawks’. Then he started making music videos. His first music video was ‘Tu’ with Sonu Nigam. He created his own space in music video industry. His first movie was ‘Tum Bin’. It was a huge hit then. The music of Tum Bin was hit all over the country. He said that when he thought to become a filmmaker and he was told that he could never become a director and rest is history. The experiments he did with his film choices are worth noticing as all the movies he made are of different genre. Movies like Dus, Ra one, Tum Bin, Mulk and now Article 15 are totally different themes. In this interview he shared his experiences with the different Bollywood personalities like Shahrukh Khan, Gulzar, Vishal Dadlani, Sonu Nigam. How he learned from ups and downs of his life.
