Loved the promo. Looks very cool and happening! Lots of such small films are lined-up in june-July…this one looks best of all!

decent trailer but there seems to be too much of obessesion of bw with muslim gangsters. there have already been too many films on dawood. it was good to see SAW focus on manya surve. there are others who have interesting story as well. same about period films being made usually on mughals. just because MEA maker was muslim and wanted to make a film on mughals and got success, doesnt mean others just had to repeat it.

i reda about the characterisation with RAW agents spying to gte dawood etc .. promos looks good …. compared to teaser rishi is better but still below average .. Irfan khan is looking good …IMo he will be the trump card .. hope nikhil comes back with this movie

i think too many films have been made on dawood already. outima is also coming which again is based on dawood

  10. Manish Kumar 6 years ago

lol what is muslim gangster or hindu gangster ?? a gangster is gangster .. movies are made on the top most successful ppl of the field and there is no doubt abt dawood n D company being the biggest of underworld

  11. Baba Ji 6 years ago

outim was on haji mustan and it glorofied him

  12. Manish Kumar 6 years ago

most of the gangster movies do that

  13. Baba Ji 6 years ago

vaastav and SAL were good in that respect. the way they ended , all the glorifaction was nullifed

Add Maya of SOAL, Anna of Parinda and Bhikhu Mhatre of Satya in the list too. And how can one forget Vijay Deenanath Chauhan of Agneepath which was made twice.

Only Rishi is decent. Otherwise chavanni-chhap trailer.

  15. Manish Kumar 6 years ago

yes especially SAL …. i have special affinity for that movie – SAL …..and a movie based on dawood cant happen without glorification – a criminal /gangster who carried out such heinous crimes is still on loose and having fun how can they show him deglorified ??

  16. Manish Kumar 6 years ago

I havent seen SAW but i think that wd have ended nt glorifying Manya surve , u have seen it na ??

  17. Baba Ji 6 years ago

not seen SAW even now :3

I have a feeling Nikhil Advani will screw this up. Rishi Kapoor and Irfan Khan are looking good.

Awesome Trailer. Rishi looks every bit of a underworld Don, expect an extra-ordinary performance from him. This is my most awaited movie amongst all the movies of the same genre released this year.

What is so special about Rishi’s acting here? He is just about decent. He was much much more intense in lot of earlier films in his prime like for example – Chandni / Karz where he was scene-stealer. And he has played many dominating roles after that too – he dominated even Nana in Hum Dono.

Just because he is playing a role of gangster does not mean anything to me. He is just decent here in a rather faltu trailer.

PS: Anyone knows the name of the guy who played Dawood in Black Friday?

    • mate 6 years ago

Don’t know about Dawood, but Pawan Malhotra as Tiger Memon was, is and will be the best ever “under world Don” played by any Actor. Infact I rank that performance amongst my all time Top 10 best performance ever in the history of bollywood.

    @Mate

Pawan was great. But he was not Don.

Everyone was great in the movie but I loved Baadshah Khan track the most.

Ok dost, criminals ka boss keh lo, ek hi baat he. 😀
Lekin ek hisaab se to wo bhi don hi tha, ek khas territory ka keh lo ya ek limited group of people ka jo us ke order par chalte the.

I did not like the trailer..Nothing special…Irrfan seems to be doing one of the repeating roles he dows after every 3-4 good roles..Arjun Rampal cant act for his life..
Rishi Kapoor looks good..nothing different about his acting….he has always been in that range.
