Aamir don’t need to make any effort for this role, it’s tailer-made for him. I don’t remember when did the last time he play a character according to his natural sensibilities. I’m eagerly awaiting for this one.

Raju Hirani is Aamir’s lifesaver. The best bet for old actors. As usual Aamir does an ensemble cast film with Sanju, Sushant, Anushka et al thrown in. This and D3 should help him wash off ignominy of his solo starrer Talaash.

First it was TOI only which tried to grab headlines by some hatke line like “aamir hunting lord shiva” etc (a week back) …(I think production unit called them for the provocative line) later they changed the headline. Now their news agency only is reporting this ..

An FIR was lodged against Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, Director and other actors under-production movie PK for allegedly hurting religious sentiments during the shooting of the film in Chandni Chowk area.
The FIR was lodged after locals objected to a scene in which a man dressed as Lord Shiva was pulling a rickshaw in which two burqa-clad women were sitting.
Initially, people thought the actors were members of a Ram Leela party but on seeing cameras they inquired about the issue.
The man who was dress like Lord Shiva was intercepted by a mob which had gathered on the spot.
A policeman who was on patrol duty also inquired about the matter and the three actors were taken to Kotwali police station, said a police official.
The actors told police that it was a dream sequence of the movie and they had all the legal documents and permission for shooting. But the mob that had reached the police station started shouting slogans alleging they were hurting religious sentiments.
“We lodged an FIR under section 295 A (injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religious of any class) and 153 A of Indian Penal Code (IPC) (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language) against the actors,” said a police official.
A police source said that Aamir Khan and Director of movie Raj Kumar Hirani have been named in the FIR.

P.K. release shifted to Christmas 2014

Aamir Khan starrer P.K. has been eagerly awaited by his fans especially after the record breaking success of Dhoom 3. The film which was supposed to release on June 6, 2014 has been shifted to Christmas 2014.
Though an official date hasn’t been announced, Rajkumar Hirani confirmed that the film will be releasing in Christmas since people tend to watch more films during the festive season. However, buzz is that Aamir has always had successful Christmas releases, starting from 3 Idiots to his recent Dhoom 3 and hence, the actor wants to continue the trend with P.K.
P.K. is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra and stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.

While we know that Aamir Khan is playing the lead in Rajkumar Hirani’s Peekay, we hear that it’s Sushant Singh Rajput who is the centre of the story. A source close to the project tells us that Sushant’s part will be a major surprise for everyone. He is said to be playing Lord Shiva in the film, which forms the crux of the story.
