If I am not able to rewatch those movies in the next few days I will go ahead and make the post. I will may be just mention those movies and update the post with those later.

First is scene Brilliant. Public Prosecutor unnecessarily trying to send to jail one innocent man on the basis of lying witness which is common in our country. Witnesses take money and come to the court and give false statements which I have seen in my real life.

The actor in first scene who is standing in witness box acted best 😀

Rajkumar Yadav is very good too but I felt he is in bit of Dilip Kumar hairstyle hangover throughout. Moreover the movie gets bit confusing here in first scene when Shahid gets accused of spending time with terrorist organizations – because there is no proper justification in first half of movie why Shahid left the terror training/ what made him change his ways. (as rightly pointed by Sputnik in his review).

(cont) His justification in the scene too that “kuch prove nahi hua tha” doesn’t add to the fact that he was not guilty being associated with terrorist organizations or planning anything. It just adds to the confusion – as it sounds more like a trick by a smart lawyer (the sentense “kuch prove nahi hua tha”).

Just because I had read reviews of this movie I was saved, but my relatives whom I recommended this movie were very confused till last few minutes. There should have been a better justification in first half – dont keep it so subtle that it means nothing – this is an Indian subcontinent movie.

PS (Another reason for confusion was I recommend movies with twists and last one was Special 26 🙂 )

My favorite movie of 2013 after Madras Cafe. Rajkumar Yadav is such a fantastic actor. He was good in Ragini MMS too. I had mentioned somewhere that in that movie, the actor was brilliant. Here in Shahid, he proved me right once again. I was very happy to see that he got Best Actor Award in Critics category for Filmfare. It will give him the well deserving recognition.
