Looks like typical Mani Ratnam movie. Don’t know why he keeps taking Arvind Swamy. Never liked him. Arjun seems to be acting well and looks good too.
What’s a typical ratnam movie?
I have watched only Roja, Bombay, Guru and Raavan.
Love Story with a social issue backdrop.
oh yeah.. good catch..
between did u understood the trailer? can u explain? i dont know the language!
I can understand Telugu. Here is literal translation of dialogues 😀
The lady is cursing the kid for misbehaving. Arvind Swamy is the new Father of Church in town. Arvind Swamy asks him “What is your name son?” and the kid replies “who’s your son?” Arjun is saying that he made him buy his own stock. Arvind is asking for the Moustachioed Guy and Arjun says he is the one. When others ask him why he is looking for him Arvind says people who sin need need a Father.
Arjun is saying he is Shaitan. Arvind is asking the hero that he has taken to bad things and is he so far that he cannot turn back. Arvind is wondering who the Goddess is who changed the hero to good again. There is some clash of good vs bad going on and Arjun is wondering what he needs to do to win. Arjun is saying that hero is like a snake and he should be shot or kept beside and be careful with him.
Trailer is ok Arjun looks great. Thulasi Nair is just 16 years old. Dimple Kapadia made her acting debut at the age of 16, playing the title role in Raj Kapoor’s teen romance Bobby. Kadal is also Love story.
Thanx, makes some sense now.
But still doesnt excite me enug on why ratnam chose to make this movie? after Guru, Raavan i was expecting something more big.
