ZEE Network has purchased a string of unreleased Bollywood blockbusters as part of its plan to ramp up its movie channel, ZEE Cinema.
The movies include thriller ‘Agent Vinod’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, plus Madhur Bhandrarkar’s much talked about bio-pic ‘Heroine’ starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. There’s also Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Joker’ and ‘Barfee’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
The network also has bought ‘My Friend Pinto’ and ‘Michael’ to add to its latest blockbuster acquisitions that include ‘Agneepath’, ‘Don 2’, ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘Players’.
