Pink lipstick … on a flying man. And yet another glam doll.

  3. nowadays kids half the age of hrithik are able to pip him in dancing. I hope he takes a down a few moves from the kids instead of the retarded embaraSSMENT in raghupati raghav dance song

The thing is ke many heroes have been called girly right from Aamir Khan back in 1988. Some heroes grew a beard then. Stubble is famous in south indian heroes (which came in with Anil Kapoor in Bollywood) who are not so manly or kind of girly – like Mahesh Babu or Dhanush / Suriya etc. Even in bollywood ppl started taking Aamir Khan seriously as an actor after the stubble he sported in Rangeela.

I dont think this guy Tiger is any different from Jackie in looks. Ever seen jackie without a mustache? He looks just fine but he is in wrong film and setup here.

    • yes . but i think an actor becomes girly by his mannerisms , not the looks. lipsticks are worn by every actor. that cant be a std .purely based on mannerisms, i find ranbir kapoor very gayish!

The initial music is from a song from his father’s debut movie Hero. The song is catchy and the whistle part is good.

Tiger looks a bit like Imran Khan in some scenes. He seems to be a good dancer and is dancing well. Hrithik did not look girly in Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. He looked and danced girly in these songs from Mission Kashmir.

    • i dont think rindposh maal song had girly steps. it was choreographed by bosco caesar and it has one great step 3:37. the bhumbro song is definetely girly choreogrpahed by the hideous saroj khan who always gives girly steps to actors.
farah khan is another choreographer who makes actors dance like women especially in kjo/yrf films.

here is a song from mohabbatein. srk was dancing like the other actresses in it

here is khaike paan by saroj khan. this was supposed to be a manly song turned feminine by saroj khan and some overacting by srk

Yeah the step at 3:37 is very good but watch at 2:13 and 4:08

Female choreographers giving girly steps to male actors is a problem in Bollywood.

Agree. Farah Khan can make anyone look girly with her inherently girly choreography.

Never thot Aamir or Hrithik in their early years were ‘girly’. But yes they both looked and acted very ‘boyish’ – which is a sharp contrast from a ‘manly’ young Amitabh for example. And it had more to do with voice modulation and body language, than just looks (skin color) or appearances (beard/hairstyle/moustache/etcetc). Hrithik’s main problem in those years was over-abundance of innocence and simplicity.

Rangeela and Jodhaa Akbar were the movies that helped both to change their one-dimensional boyish appeal. At the very least, they were respective starting points towards versatility.

But coming back to the thread topic, those who were waiting eagerly for Tiger’s debut seems to be busy discussing other actors in Heropanti thread than this awesome Shroff ?
