Really? This question arises lots of time In Mind & It brings toward forcely Think. Yes we are talking about his recent venture which have arrived at Big Screen with 5th time named Khiladi786. Akshay Kumar back WithIn 9 Month of Spame of his 5th release Khiladi786, So People was expecting another 100+cr from him[Including Me] , Specially his Loyal fans,But reality was Something else. Movie’s fake hype had created by Some Exhibitor & some Trade analyst In last 1-2 weeks, But when had released on 7th dec,the Collection was Very below to Expection. Why??? Lets find :
1- Akshay Kumar released his 5th Movie in this which too Much Facing for General Audience,they felt bored to watch same Actor again & again at Big Screen.
2- I think It was wrong time For Movie release Specially for Masala gener, because One Big Movie already had arrived i.e SOS & next Big Blockbuster Movie sequal is Coming after Khiladi786,so Venture is looking Pissed between these two.
3- Peopld already watched K786 type movid before 3 week i.e SoS, so It was too boring experience for Him.
4- When movie’s 1st look Poster Out & Scripted by Himesh, people thinked bad for Film.
Solution For Future :
1- firstly He should try to do atleast 2 movies per Year[Max 3] For Put better Boxoffice Numbers & superb faith in Audience.
2- Akshay Kumar shouln’t Try to do Very Hard for Recent form of gener
3-He should try to change alternate gener of Movie to got the faith Of Audience.
4- If Akshay wants to release more movies Per year ,than he can try as a Producer.
PS : As An Akshay Kumar Fan, I’m little dissapointed from him, but Hope he’ll do least above mentioned things & Next Year Only 3 Movies will release i.e S26 ,BoSS & OUTIAM2. Thankx !

Good post aditya. When we used to say akshay is simply bastardising the Khiladi Brand in this,you were not willing to listen. It was just another crap masala in the garb of a khiladi series which is a completely different kind of cinema.
But good that you are critising him for k786. Lets hope he will not do such masala from now and concentrate on films like special 26 which is more up his ally.He can continue to do the hf series bcos that comes once in 3 years.

Exactly, what are we saying? If You’re Riding with good Numbers , then Why did UnNecessary ? And if U remember back when Akshay was high in 2006-08 period , he did these things & resulting was very bad in 2009-11[except HF].

its an old akshay problem. when he starts getting many hits, he goes on a movie signing spree and suffers. I agree with you he should do 2 films an year one commercial and the other OMG type.
also its good that akshay fans are not defending this film. salman fans will do the same when one of his masala films flop or underperforms. they will critise the same things that they keep praising in his films blindly.
many salman fans criticised BG and was quite an embarrassment and audience who liked veergati type of crap lapped up BG big time to help score it at 140cr….
you are one of the few who critised it majority of salman fans liked it and supported it as some great film. Some even listed it as one of the best ‘action films’ ever! There reactions to each new salman film is not very different from the akshay fans. (epic, record breaking etc instead of speaking how the film actually is). They are more interested in the footfalls than the product itself. I challenge any salman fan to pinpoint even one flaw in what i said about bg or ett. They cant, They will defend it saying it got n number of footfalls and xyz BO gross. So far so good. BO is with salman. The day it is not, its only a matter of time when we will see this type of post from an honest salman fan once one of his films underperforms.
Stop your over expectations, over enthusiasm and shouting from the roof top for every release of his as blockbuster, epic this and that….. which also gives wrong indication to your idol when you guyz go on flattering all over his twitter handle where he has direct access to his fans… Also stop comparing or projecting him as above all even b4 he has established anything in a big way…. Stop ranting your bhakt chants every now and then on every forum and accept him as he is not as you guyz want to see him…. that may avoid disappointment in future… he does films for earnings for his livings and not just to satisfy his fans… Even he has his own priorities and you guyz should set your priorities right before questioning him over his wrong doings….
Khiladi 786 is doing well.Its ds will be more.

I never said 16+ Opening for Khiladi 786, but Which I was Expecting for this venture ,didn’t get! Thats what have I mention about it.

lol ,Yaar Its Problem With Movie trending,If Script is well then Movie might do Great bizZ like OMG had done.Btw I have mentioned the resion above why K786 didn’t do well.
