the greatest entertainer ever. the biggest dancing icon ever who inspired so many dancers. here is one hrithik performance from filmfare 2006 where he did some of his famous dance moves. my fav is the one in don trackhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/gOmriX72XDkLog in to Reply
Agree on Michael being “the greatest entertainer ever. the biggest dancing icon ever who inspired so many dancers.”Hrithik was very good in the Don track. Hadn’t seen that before.Log in to Reply
True, greatest entertainer. Just look at his influence in Bollywood – personalities as diverse as Govinda to SRK to Hrithik are influenced by him in one way another.Log in to Reply
In the way he dresses up , the way he acts in real life (secluded, loves attention etc) – its visible:)Log in to Reply
I would include “dont stop till you get enough” and “I want you back” (jackson 5 song) instead dof Earth song and They dont care abt us.“Dont stop till you get enough” for his simplicity and natural easy sense of rhythm.https://www.youtube.com/embed/yURRmWtbTboAnd this one’s for his singing talent and I like the way Jackson5 group conducted the song on the stage.https://www.youtube.com/embed/s3Q80mk7bxELog in to Reply
I like Dont Stop Till You Get Enough too. I had included it and removed it at the last moment as it was from his pre Thriller days. Agree about the song “simplicity and natural easy sense of rhythm”.Log in to Reply
The best part of this post is – no one can argue on the order of the first 6 songs 🙂Undoubtedly the best song of his Billie Jean.Log in to Reply
And talking abt billie jean, here is his best moonwalk/dance.https://www.youtube.com/embed/b6pomaq30GgI think his best and most popular video is that of the Dangerous song. It was one of most amazing stage performances ever IMO.Log in to Reply
Yeah that moonwalk is great. This is probably his shortest moonwalk and yet his most famous because its the first time he did it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lvsBBNV-U4Log in to Reply
Good choices. So they made this list yesterday too. I am surprised that they made a list of Top 10 Michael Jackson songs and that majority of their top choices matched mine 🙂 I expected them to make fun of Michael Jackson and his songs. My list was not really in order of best songs. It was more in order of release of albums. Songs from Thriller followed by Bad followed by Dangerous followed by History.Log in to Reply
Yes he was. But in the last few years of his life Michael was made fun of as a freak because of his physical appearance and child sex abuse allegations. It had become uncool to listen to his songs or like Michael’s songs specially with young people. That has changed after his death though. Its like he regained his prestige/status after his death.Log in to Reply
yes that happens with every legend doesnt it? the younger generation are not much interested in them. micheals moves were very innovative back in the 80s and 90s.but dancing since then has evovled too .b-boying and capoeira has taken over .somewhere the moonwalking and locking/popping became outdated. but if you ask me anyone who stil does the MJ trademarks like him looks as graceful as MJ didLog in to Reply
in step up 2 , character moose (adam sevani) was shown to be inspired by MJhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/YGQgDpjbNIsLog in to Reply
apart from moonwalk , another of his famous step was “The lean” in 8:22 in smooth criminal video. it was done by robert hoffman of step up 2 at 2:28https://www.youtube.com/embed/qI34Ruz8Nrohttps://www.youtube.com/embed/0GN6Gi_HLZYLog in to Reply

Michael Jackson supposedly admitted to Daryl Hall & John Oates that he stole the song Billie Jean from their song No Can Do and even they did not see the similarity. I can see some initial similarity in the way the song starts.I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) – Daryl Hall & John Oateshttps://www.youtube.com/embed/ccenFp_3kq8https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/18/michael-jackson-hall-and-oates_n_6708284.htmlLog in to Reply
