my fav film of rajesh khanna along with anand.Was watching amar prem today on doordarshan for a while.Didnt like his melodramatic acting much there.Dialogues were ordinary as well.
His melodrama probably got only worse from there.Can see why bachan became the new face of bollywood superstardom soon; of course helped largely by the make-over by Salim-Javed.
