Student Of The Year opened pretty well at multiplexes with collections on average around 45-50% in the metros. The opening is dependent on the location with premium multiplexes in and around Delhi taking a good 60% opening but a good PVR property in Nagpur opening to 35%.
The first day collections will be helped by the fact that the multiplexes which are big collectors will have good collections. The best opening for the film was in the Delhi city area.
There are two ways at looking at the opening, it is a good start if you go by the face value of the film but average going the budget of the film.
The single screen opening is likely to be low and how the metro and A centre multiplex audience behaves will decide the fate of the film.

soty ne sabki baja di hai.i dont think anyone expected this opening. i think even 35 cr weekend cannot be ruled out with a good wom. with avg wom,28-30 cr is possible.
