Pretentious and lame.
First he finished Nigesh Kukunoor’s career, now he will make a full stop to Neeraj Pandey’s career. He is the biggest panuti especially for young talented film makers who are going through their struggling period.
Found it interesting but kind of disappointed as I was expecting more from Neeraj Pandey. I loved A Wednesday and that was the best film of the year for me. Anupam and Manoj seem to be acting well. Akshay is not bad but with him just doing Khiladi 786 (where he was dressed as a cop when he is a crook) gives that deja vu feeling. And it looks like there is a song in it. Why do you need a song in a movie like this when Neeraj made a good movie with no songs before.
its based on “true ” incidents 😉 and the director has claimed at danke ki chot 😀 so some goof up cna be excused right sputnik?
Good that they are doing it at “danke ki chot” but you never know. CBI or someone may start creating hurdles and we will have the standard legal disclaimer.
There will obviously be some cinematic liberties taken but I hope they don’t add any cheesy scenes or scenes that are too ridiculous to be true.

Anyway best film se yaad aaya, who was the director of Mithya, does he make any other after that. And I simply loved MMJ in the same year.
I am serious. It did well at the Boxoffice, got awards and is rated 8.3 at IMDB.
This is the first time I am hearing that its ridiculous and worst but then you liked JTHJ 😉 Just kidding.
I liked MMJ too but it was a bit slow paced. Have not seen Mithya.
mithya is good sputnik.. you should watch it… tailor made for audience like you.. A wednesday was one of the best film of that year…

I dont understand how it is trivial. It talked about giving it back to the bad guys. It does not mean that people go and actually start doing it. It just made the point that ordinary people were fed up of the repeated attacks and cops need to do their part.
MMJ was good but what was the ending – moment of silence? What does it do show – resolve? And guess what move on and wait for the next attack.
Mithiya was decent. Don’t remember much. I for one found MMJ overrated.May be I have seen do many such movies. A wednesday was good. Could have been little subtle.
The ‘worst’ thing was in response to your ‘best’ thing. 😉
But seriously, It was no way near to the best 20 of the particular year. It was quite an over-rated movie which is trivial at best despite all its gimmick trappings. I think it was very basic of film-making, childish at times. Comparing it to Mumbai Meri Jaan, that was much more complicated a concept, and very maturely handled by Kamat, the director. And c’mon you havn’t seen Mithya, really, then you have missed an experience of decade if not lifetime.
Yes one or two cheesy scenes are fine. Hope the whole movie is not as ridiculous as A Wednesday.
Problem is Akshay does not have the acting chops to make this interesting. Manoj is in a different league, but even Kher is more impressive than Akshay’s acting.

I was thinking special chabbis will serious and intense movie like ‘a wednesday’ but after watching trailer i m totally hopeless,dissapoint akshay kumar doing samething again and again why, now i can understand why ajay devgn has leve this movie
Quite a medicore trailor and below expectation. Manoj bajpai was awesome. Akshay gives a TMK feel to it.
