    I am curious if anyone has ever seen Aditya Chopra in a interview or read an interview of his coz I don’t remember ever reading/watching his interview. The other day I forwarded through clips of The Making of DDLJ and even there he does not speak even for a minute directly. They just show him having a discussion when directing a scene.

    This is very strange. Are there any other directors in Bollywood who never gave any interviews?

    Maybe he is too ashamed of his movies 😀

    wtaever crap one say about ddlj, it is unmitigated worldclass cinema. I take this team above avtar and titanic teams.

      no doubt. its an artistic piece of work and a fine cinematic study material for the likes of Nolan and Cameron. my personal fav scene is kabootar scene . srks dhoti is so white. it signfies his pure romantic soul.

        “.It wasn’t a full-blooded script as such, it was an attempt at a thriller about a man who kills someone and loses his memory.And then he becomes a police officer and is assigned to investigate the murder he has committed himself.(Laughs) It was just an attempt to form some sort of a storyline.And who knows? Perhaps, I could still make it into a film some day..”

        and then he made mohabateein, rnbdj in the next 15 years.

    Undoubtedly, THE “Best Love Song” of past 18 Years in one of the Greatest Movies ever known to mankind!

    @Baba

    I love Kajal’s expression from 0:58 to 1:04 when she realizes (or rather ‘feels’) the lover has “different” feelings and parts away from him 😛

      LOL.

      I find this a very cliched style of picturisation – herione running all the way and jumps into the arms of the hero, sometimes it ends in a hug, sometimes in a kiss , then both open their eyes and then feel embarassed about it and move away.
      Pehle saari rang-raliyan aur ayiyaashiyan kar lenge baad mein sadhu-sant banege. 😉 arey karne se pehle socho na, aur agar ek baar kar diya to phir sharam kyun? its a hypocritic reaction. I found similar picturisation in that balam pichkari song . deepika is in a really short underwear kind of chaddi and is dancing between the crowd and on stage for almost 3- 4mins with ranbir, but suddenly towards the end of the song both feel embarassed about it. jab pichle 5 min mein sharam nahi aayi to ab kyun aa raha hai?
