      Its a very good but rahat fateh ali khan almost ruined it with the unnecesssary high pitch.He has habit of singing all songs in high pitch whether it suits the song or not.this wasnt the kind. Shreya ghoshal did a good job.her voice was soft .IMO it needed Sonu Nigam in Do nishaaniyaan ( jhootha hi sahi) mode. even the original song by cleopatra is a soft peaceful song and not yelling.

        @Baba
        Agree Rahat Fateh Ali Khan ruined it with unnecessary high pitch.Original song by Cleopatra is a soft and sweet song.

        @hithere

        Dikhai Diye Yun lovely song Ritz and thanks for sharing and I think Sputnik SOTD mein Lagaya yeh song may be 2 or 3 months back.

          yes Aryan. What pains me is that greats like Mir Taqi Mir – even if they were born india and did all their work here, none in the media speaks about them. Urdu is still regarded as language of a particular religion/country – despite it being very Indian.
          I saw articles on Mir yday only on Pak sites/news. (this despite the fact his poetry had nothing to do with islam like say Iqbal)

    Shreya ghosal was brilliant she totally dominated rahat.
    My fav song from kareena’s movie is ‘aaoge jub tum saajna’ from jab we met.
