Solah baras ki bali umar ko salam is my all time favorite song and brilliant lyrics written by Anand Bakshi.

Yes the lyrics are very good and Anand Bakshi won Filmfare Award for the song. I was in two minds to post this song or Tere Mere Beech Mein. I went with the more popular song.
@Sputnik
Anand Bakshi won filmfare award for best lyricist for the song Tere Mere Beech not Solah baras ki Baali umar but this song only nominated.
Each song of this film is fantastic. My most fav 2 are lighter ones:

Agree that each song in the movie is fantastic. And yes the interaction is good in the second song.
Had posted the lift song before.
Agree lyrics is too good in all songs here.
I love the bit “appadiya” in Tere Mere Beech mein. Its hilarious. Also when he says “parvaillai”
I meant to say “love the bits of interaction between them in the song – as he doesnt understand hindi” for this song actually.
