As a 6-7 year old I remember watching CID with my parents in theater. And one thing which I remember distinctly was Waheeda dancing on “Kahi pe nigahe..kahi pe nishaana” in front of villain to protect DevAnand who is hiding.
I saw the songs of CID now after this post and this “kahin pe nigaahe” – what I noticed is Waheeda’s ‘nazaaqat’ in dancing which I had not noticed as a kid 🙂 Thanks Sputnik

‘Kahin pe Nighaien’ is the Better one of the two.
You should already know Kahin pe Nighaien from before since you are a SRK and DDLJ fan.
And Shamshad Begum songs are quite popular with remixes. I think the songs in this post as well as the Mera Piya Gaye Rangoon had remix versions.
I ‘knew’ the Song Sputnik.. What I meant in general is that I’ve started to listen to such popular songs of the 50’s/60’s/70’s with keen interest nowadays, something which I hadn’t done ever in my life 2-3months back.!
Now these old hindi songs are starting to interest me and I am starting to develop a true liking & taste for them in recent months.
ps – I’ve byhearted the entire – screenplay/story/dialogues of DDLJ 😀
