SOTD: I Drove All Night – Cyndi Lauper

Check out the song I Drove All Night by Cyndi Lauper on her birthday.

I had posted this same song sung by Roy Orbison earlier with this song too. I did not know back then but this is interesting trivia.

‘”I Drove All Night” is a song written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly and made famous by Cyndi Lauper. The song was originally written for Roy Orbison, who recorded it in 1987, but his rendition was not released until 1992, after the song had become a top 10 hit on both sides of the Atlantic for Cyndi Lauper in 1989.’ (From Wikipedia)

    Sputnik,
any plans to start a weekly/fortnightly movie thread?
let me see if I can get the time and energy to post one… or else, if anyone else posts, I will be happy to contribute.
I think we should start the thread ASAP and make it sticky for a few days at least.

I have a few different ideas on this –
rather than making the thread random, we can make threads based on genre… and keep bollywood/hollywood/regional separate.
I am sure with the kind of knowledge we have on this forum, those threads will be treat to any movie lover’s
