Shahid out of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai sequel

Shahid Kapoor arrives in a black tee and blue jeans on the sets of India’s Got Talent.
Actor Shahid Kapoor, who was tipped to play a negative character inspired by Chhota Rajan in director Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, has now walked out of the project.

According to sources, Shahid was unhappy with his role and felt that the big budget film is not a viable project. “Shahid had different expectations from his character and the final role disappointed him. He told his friends that the film has a very high budget and such a project is not financially viable, and that that the film will not recover its costs. At this stage in his career, he doesn’t want to do such films,” says a source.

However, another source has a different story to tell. “Shahid had problems with working with Akshay Kumar from the very start. He did not feel that he’d be comfortable doing the film with him. Thus, he told production house Balaji that he can no longer do the film.”
