Re posting my comment from Movies you watched this month December thread.
“Watched Snatch. Liked it initially with the dialogues and all but after a point it had too many characters and it kind of dragged. Hate it when they are dumb characters in a movie and one can tell from a mile that their stupidity will have a big effect later. And the dog was added to the movie only for one reason and I knew what it would do in the end.
Some scenes and dialogues were good though like Bullet-Tooth Tony’s dialogues when he is pointed a gun by the black guys or Brick Top’s dialogues about being a pig farm owner.
But Guy Ritchie is clearly inspired by Quentin Tarantino – the cursing, the long smart ass dialogues and multiple tracks.
I thought I had seen Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels but may be not. I think I was confusing with another movie which I do not remember now.”
