It is syrupy but good watch always.
Rks, that was my first reaction to it when I saw this first in 90s. But over the years it has become one of the best movies for me – so much so that its not a movie anymore for me but a philosophy for living life.
I never get bored watching this.
even The Terminal is syrupy but good.
Personally I never get bored watching his Forrest Gump, Toy Story series and The Ladykillers.
Cant pick one scene from this movie but one of my most fav moments is when he runs without a reason ..and then stops and says “I think I’ll go home now, I am pretty tired”.
And the one at the end when he puts he is talking to his gf grave and puts an envelope there saying his son wrote a letter to her – but he is not supposed to read it.
And then when he is fired from Army – he just leaves…without any complains ..stealing a TT bat 🙂
His relationship wih Jenny also….well I should stop now otherwise I would blabber about this one 🙂
@Sputnik
How about starting a post/thread for films which changed your life? or maybe touched one deep….
I think we will get most good recommendations from there from Individuals.
hmm… Can’t think of any movies any that changed my life off the top of my head but its a good idea for a post.
