I was expecting better Music from Rahman its a average song.

On the contrary I was expecting more synthetic sound from Rahman. Here he has surprised me. Here even if beats are synthetic instead of real drum, I like it – he has not overused artificial.
At the start of the song, Rahman gets it wrong though – but gets better as song moves on and beats start.
Singer’s pronunciations and the way song is sung – has south indian accent.

Liked Dhanush imitating Rajni bits. (bullet in teeth at start and then him wearing coat)
Him dancing on streets is inspired from his song from “Aadukalam” but that was way more nicer than this song…he was way more authentic as person not caring for the world and madly in love in that setting.

cant make out anything from it.
As anyways Rahman’s tamil songs are also difficult to understand by tamilians itself. I just wanted to to know if you north guys can make any sense of it …thanks!!

I don’t like this song, anyways.
Btw, I don’t understand this one things.. Since the last 7-10 years Music directors have been using some technique where the lead singer’s voice appears “doubled” as in like two of the same singer have been singing it…Don’t know why..It sounds weird too.

Rahman has become brand and less music, its brand that sells… to me rehman sonngs sound same, repetitive and sufiana. One can understand Signature of MD but bringing sufiana n same sound again and again… but thn one cant Question rehman as his die hard fans say… last one good album from rehman was D6. period.
As Rahat sings every song same way so does rehman bring sufiana in every song he composes…

Whoever is the lyricist, I love this line “Kar meri bhor,ab mukh dikhla”
Such a gem of a line in today’s half baked and chullu lyrics (laced with urdu words like aashiqui/bewafaa/Salaam/Dua/Intehaa/Mulaaqat/Sohobat/Qaram/Paimaane/Nigaahein/Zamaanat/Amaanat etc etc ..clubbed with “mujhko/Tujhko” etc which is bambaiyya hindi) .. and which are sung with hinglish accent and pukeworthy music with singers sounding like they are married to Karan Johar.
