Players has got the year off to a very bad start as collections could not pick up on Saturday after a poor start. The first day collected around 4.60 crore nett and second day is in the same region. It could be 10-15 lakhs more or less when final collections come in but Players needed a 30-40% jump to even have a respectable weekend. The weekend is likely to be 15 crore nett at best.

if it wd have done 50 also it wd have been decent enough but 30-35 is not done for sure
This is 5th consecutive disaster for Abhishek Bachchan. His last successful movie was in 2009 – Paa (Amitabh Bachchan being the Hero of the movie). Than he had 5 releases –

All of the above 5 movies dint had even a decent opening, forget about any Box office run. I mean Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se folded at around 5 cr!
Abhishek seriously need a makeover now. He still has a hope in Dostana 2 (Dharma Productions have a very good track record).
Because of Amitabh Bachchan he is getting roles not because of his talent or ability.Famous baap hone ka yahi tu faida hai.
