Today Zoya Akhtar has the pulse of the nation’s youth. She knows what appeals much in the same way that Aditya Chopra, and Johar, knew this subject a few decades ago.
I go to cinema to be entertained. I will take Zoya over say Bhansali. Clearly I don’t mean Bhansali is bad, but Zoya kind of speaks my language.
But the important thing is that Zoya is not just all fun and frolic. ZNMD spoke of our pains, not just only about our joys. Likewise, DDD also looks like a movie will has depth and substance behind the glamour.
Well put Tall Pike. I totally agree there.
