Good song for its genre.. Take that Mr Rahman

Btw..Aamir doesn’t look good except that inspector-smiling scene.. Rani looks old.. Kareena looks older tha her previous movies yet really attractive

Aamir looks more and more like Manish Chaudhary from Rocket Singh.

The song sounds like some other song can’t remember though. The picturization is old school.

Song reminded me of the song Kaisi Paheli Zindagani.

Cool song Agree very similar to Kaisi Paheli Zindagani from Parineeta.

I had said “The song sounds like some other song can’t remember though.”

Found out which song it is from a comment on pinkvilla.

The song as well as the video are inspired from the song “Why Don’t You Do Right?” from the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

    Sputnik,

Actually there’s that thing about such songs..like a slow cabaret song…they all sound similar..Huzuru e ala and kaisi paheli zindagani came to mind when I heard it.

to be honest at some level , to me it sounds like the Bigg Boss 4 title track hosted by salman πŸ˜›

Underwhelmed by picturization. Could have been better. Song is decent.
Anyways this is not in the movie.

Is justt a promotional song.. Getting everyone under on roof ..

    Sounds decent tough

I think music does’nt matter for such a genre, it’s background score, that really matters. But now-a-days the OST is usually used as BGM in most of the movies. So keeping in mind the genre, it sounds good. And what i guess from the promo tracks, this one seems the best song of the album too, followed by Hona Hai Kya.
But I dont think this album will be the contender for the Best Music category, though the BGM may be the best of the year.

See just what the lyrics and actions of Kareena from 1.06 onwards.. Any hint πŸ˜‰

As a promotional song its strictly OK, hopefully this is not included in the movie.
Whose idea was to give Aamir this ridiculous moustache?

    • Ritz 11 years ago

The moustache in this video is fake one. Aamir had grown real one for the movie shoot but this video was shot later on.

Amir loves moustaches be it Mangal Pandey one or this one.

A decent song but if you look at it as background song then it’s better than ok and also a decent video.

“Hona hai kya” can easily pass as some Don series song …with bit of RD burman influence in the interludes there.

Liked the musical arrangements in “Jee le zaraa” and “Jiya laage na”.

Jiya Laage Na gets better as the song progresses – interesting composition. Dont like Sona’s voice – but male singer has sung it good. (Ravindra Upadhye)

“Laakh duniya kahe” ( it goes on and on) sounds like it is main theme in the movie.

Jiya lage nah is picturised on Aamir and Rani
Lakh duniya kahe is on Aamir remembering his dead son

Suprabh, we seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum. Me thought that this was a lousy song, but aamir looked terrific. Actually, am really looking forward to this movie as I think this will be gritty like sarfarosh. Havent heard the music yet but hope this is the weakest track, bcoz this sounds like the don 2 song…pretty lame.

Kind of lousy and insipid for a promotional song. Rani looks old. Kareena’s age also shows. Moustache does not suit Aamir at all. It didn’t really create any excitement or anticipation for the film.
