There is a mirror scene in Mard where Amitabh fools Prem Chopra.
This scene was inspired/copied from a scene from Kohinoor with Dilip Kumar and Jeevan or may be it was a homage/tribute. Check out the scene from Kohinoor.
Now the Dilip Kumar scene was not original either. It was inspired/copied from a scene from I Love Lucy (starring Harpo Marx) which itself was a tribute to the original scene from the Marx Brothers movie Duck Soup. Here is the scene from I Love Lucy.
Finally here is the original scene from the the Marx Brothers movie Duck Soup featuring Groucho Marx and today is Groucho Marx’s birth anniversary.

I like this skit from A Day at the Races starring Groucho Marx and Harpo Marx too.
4th scene is the best.
Agree. Dilip’s scene is better than Amitabh’s and Dilip’s acting is better than Amitabh’s. Lucy scene is better than Dilip’s scene.
@sputnik: Amitabh Bachchan himself has admitted in the past that even his comic mirror scene from Amar Akbar Anthony was also not original and that it’s reinterpretation by him only became popular because it was very nicely rewritten and modified as per Indian film-viewing standards. Kader Khan, the veteran actor and an old colleague of Amitabh also had onced remarked that the scene was not original and had been acted out numerous times by other actors before Amitabh too; but it came to be associated with Amitabh only because of his HUGE mass appeal and his own brand style of acting out comedy scenes.
Kader Khan has said that he directed the mirror scene in Amar Akbar Antony.
“I would love to direct a film. In fact, I have directed portions of films. I directed a portion in Yaarana; the song Saara Zamana is directed by me. I also directed the scene in Amar Akbar Anthony scene where Amitabh tries to stick a bandaid on the mirror.”

Yeah but I genuinely think that Amitabh’s scene is the best of all of the above four. His comic timing, expressiveness and dialogue delievery is impeccable and inimitable. Amitabh was more versatile than any other actor to balance serious scenes and comedy scenes flawlessly.
Prem Chopra & Amitabh’s mirror scene is full of over acting & Dilip-Jeevan mirror scene is better if compare of the two scenes.
I found Lucy the best out of four… Also I think Amitabh scene was better than Dilip Scene..mainly because Amitabh imitated Chopra much better than Dilip imitating Jeevan….btw out of all the scenes Prem Chopra was hilarious.
