Agree about the picturization – very colorful and looks like they spent a lot of money on the song. Looks good.
I don’t like this YRF’s decision to release only 30 second teasers of songs. I would prefer it the other way – release the whole song now and have may be only half the song play in the movie instead of the full song. Magicians singing/dancing to a full song may seem weird in the movie.

they spent 5cr on this song.. but if they could ignore Aamir in this song, song may hv looked way better.. with that short height nd no great body he is ruining the song…

production values look gr8, the money spent is clearly evident.

Aamir looks a total miscast.
I dont think releasing the song teaser only is going to help this movie.
What I read from various sources is – none of the songs will be shown prior to release. Only song teasers like this one. They hope to cash in on the curiosity factor. Not sure if this tactics will help!
So far, this movie looks like heading for a huge disappointment.
The length of the movie is 3 hours almost, 172 minutes

Here people seem to believe that the earlier two Dhoom movies are some sort of cult classics. Actually by the look of the trailer, Dhoom 3 seems to have at least a semblance of a story to begin with.

I personally feel that the current installment of the Dhoom series will be far far better than the previous two cause this movie seems to have a storyline unlike the previous 2 which some people here believe to be some sort of cult classics.
People even said that Aamir was not suited for Ghulam, Sarfarosh, Lagaan, DCH, Mangal Pandey, RDB, Ghajini and 3 Idiots. I wouldn’t let that bother me as Aamir has shown a penchant for proving these people wrong all these years. I repeat Aamir is the best commercial Superstar-actor since Amitabh Bachchan (and I don’t consider Dilip Kumar in that category as I found his acting too OTT).
The Emperor is waiting to strike back with the first 300 cr movie.
the dhoom series was never about the storyline. it was about slick and coolness of the characters. from the promos, aamir seems to be too old school for this kind of genre with his frowns and grins in action scenes. and with fatherly angles like “mein ghar aa gaya baba” , it is tilting towards south masala than a modern day action thriller like the earlier dhooms or race series. Leaving aside the bo results, i dont think aamir was suitable for MP, ghajini or 3i. Ghajini has typical OTT south action with aamir on steriods. in 3i he was high on botox and kept widening his eye balls to show youth.he was good in lagaan and rdb and i dont think anyone questioned him in those films.
Aamir was perfect choice for Mangal Pandey. It is a different story that he fell short of my expectations in some scenes acting wise…
this song has grown on me even without the video. once the video comes it wil grow by some more inches for sure
