Liked the poster though there is a The Dark Knight Rises vibe about it.

So much ‘babula’ (Brouhaha) for this. Isme bhi hero ka face nahi dekh sakte.

And if Roshans are thinking that this is like creating the excitement the TDKR way ..they are wrong.

  4. Anjanpur685Miles 11 years ago

Lol …our comments clashed Sputnik – abt TDKR.

I dont think India at-leas is waiting with bated breath for krissh – like some ppl were waiting for Batman returning.

I think they should have gone more soft…kids these days dont even know who Krrish was. They have to create more awareness and show his face atleast.

Going by this, movie will underperform/Flop. I think the Roshans are thinking that Indians know Krrish very well…huh!!!!

    Good Poster.

Don’t know what to expect – a kiddie ‘Indianised’ Superhero Movie OR a Dark Themed One OR One with Great VFX/Style but No Sense of Basic Story OR a Fullon KNPH Types Entertainer!

Bring it on, THE MOST EXPENSIVE BOLLYWOOD MOVIE OF 2013 🙂

  6. Serenzy 11 years ago

I just feel D3 will be a Better Movie than K3.
    Let’s see…

  8. Syed imran 11 years ago

Nyc first look bt as usual too much familiarity wit the looks of scifi/adventure movies of hollywood… It seems indian film industry thinks that we indians do not watch any hollywood films.. Still vl watch fr the desi version…

    Official Synopsis

After defeating the villainous Dr. Siddhant Arya, and bringing his father Rohit back from the dead, Krrish continued fighting against evil and saving innocent lives.

Now Krishna is living a happily married life with Priya, while Rohit is using his scientific brilliance to benefit society. And Krrish is everyone’s favorite superhero saviour.

Unknown to them, a dark force is growing in another part of the world. Kaal, an evil genius, is selfishly misusing his powers to spread fear, death and destruction. And he is being assisted by an army of very dangerous beings, which he has created himself.

Not long after Kaal’s plans are put into action, both Rohit and Krrish find themselves faced with a crisis of epic proportions, which only they can resolve, together. But when they finally cross paths with Kaal and his army, neither of them is prepared for what lies ahead.

Kaal not only brings the world to the brink of disaster, he also puts the strength and love of Krishna and his family to the test.

And Krrish has to somehow find the power within to face an unbeatable foe.

The greatest battle between good and evil begins….

    This Diwali, in cinemas only.

Reading the Story i m having a bad Vibe for Krrish……i think in trying too hard they might not destroy the movie with too many dark or copying hollywood movies..!!

Brilliant poster. As Babaji said there must be least stunts with more focus on storyline just like KMG, a powerful villain and more emhasis on characters rather than action and stunt. There should be 1-2 action sequences at most as we know with more action scenes for a superhero thriller, what our producters capable of, they can’t be able to maintain the standard in their limited budget. So only 1 or 2 action sequences but upto hollywood standard.

The filmmakers aren’t sure of what Krrish stands for. Does he represent a saviour, a vigilante who kills the villain in cold blood instead of assigning him to the authorities? What makes a superhero work, I believe, is not the superjumps, action but what the hero represents. Batman represents a constant struggle to eradicate crime and not the criminal. Batman when taken to the extremes and thrust in the real world would give Rorschach, who would kill anyone to stamp out crime. Superman, Captain America represent hope, inspiration and the power and judgement to do the right thing no matter what the situation is. Hence, the dark approach would not work for characters other than Batman, or anyone from Watchmen. Krrish is just a pastiche of all these superhero elements but isn’t able to take these ideals and form a unique identity for himself. In short, we would most likely get another Ra.One with loads of vfx and chhamak chhallos contradictory to what the poster suggests.

    Bad Didn’t liked it……Expected much more..!! 🙁

The director is Rakesh Roshan. Not some Christopher Nolan. He knows the Indian audience, unless of course Hrithik interferes too much and makes it too classy/mutiplex type.

BTW, why is the film called Krissh 3 shouldn’t it be Krissh-2???

  15. Serenzy 11 years ago

    Phoenix,
It’s the “3rd Installment” in the series, that’s why.

Brilliant poster. Liked the dark theme.

Agree with most of the comments here. Krrish 3 has a dark themed poster which the Dark Knight had. I guess they have took a clue or two from TDKR. Reading the synopsis it sounds not a very great story but Rakesh Roshan knows how to entertain Indian public. What I can tell with surety is that the movie will be a good one time entertaining movie like his other ventures, but I doubt whether it will have THE DEPTH which Ritz, Baba and Sup are looking for.

Ritz, agree about superhero should be known one. Krrish is fairly popular face within the kids, only problem is those kids are now in their early teenage (it has been 7 years since the last movie released).

Baba, I doubt whether Krrish 3 will have any deep impacting / sad ending. Rakesh Roshan movies are always soft.

Sup, excellent point but till now what we have seen is that Krrish himself was not aware of the potential of his powers until he meets Priyanka and Naseer. Till he realises his potential, his most important aim was to rescue his father, which he did eventually. We will come to know the driving force / thought of a super hero Krrish may be only in this movie, though it looks like a old and famous win of good over bad theme.

A lot will depend on how Vivek Oberoi shapes up in the role of Kaal. If he is effective enough in this negative role (he has proved before) than we can expect a very entertaining movie.

  18. Anjanpur685Miles 11 years ago

Agree I.One on Vivek. Btw it is Saurabh and not Sup 🙂 .

Another movie having high TDK/TDKR inspiration is going to be Dhoom3 – more so because it is also shot in the same city.

A lot of terrible movies have been shot in Chicago, hope D3 expectations dont reach out to them too!

Anyways, from the synopsis it looks like a TDKR summary more or less.

Interesting poster but too much of TDKR hangover. Don’t think RR has it in him to full off a TDK or TDKR like intense dark story. This is bound to be more filmy (remember the cringeworthy “Just Imagine!” stuff in Krissh!!). Vivek Oberoi needs to step up and provide a significant challenge for Hrithik to make this entertaining.

  21. Bored 11 years ago

A seriously doubt if Nolan’s style will be accepted by Bollywood audience at large. The trick is to indianize it – something RR is good at, doubt if the Tashan director has that in him – but Victor can make D3 spoofy like Tashan and aim for an OSO kind of result and BO.

Going hollywood way/treatment is very tricky. Aamir tried it in his last two films – Dhobi Ghat and Talaash – both kinda tanked after the opening (compared to other Aamir films).

  22. Serenzy 11 years ago

Yes, Viviek Oberoi has a crucial part to play(have made this point way much before).
He also has Kangna Ranaut with him.

VO’s Character of ‘Kaal’ reminded me of ‘Loki’ from The AVENGERS.

    .

Taking a note or two from RA.One, Roshans should take care to not to include Cringeworthy Comedy Sequences.
