Kahaani has held up superbly on its second Friday as it collected around 2 crore nett which is just 25-30% less than the first Friday collections. The collections in all the big metros were very similar to the first day and the multiplexes which have more shows in week two had better collections. The film did drop in places like UP and Bihar but that is not the target audience so it is expected.
The second weekend business of the film can be in the 9-10 crore nett and depending on the growth in business on the all important Saturday it could even go above 10 crore nett.
In a multiplex circuit like East Punjab where Kahaani underperformed in the first week, the drop was just 5% from first day. Delhi/UP dropped around 20% and Mumbai around 30-35%.
