Kahaani was rock steady in it second weekend as it collected 10 crore nett approx. The drop from its first week Fri-Sun period is just 25%. The ten day plus paid previews business of the film is around 34 crore nett and the two week business is certain to be over 40 crore nett.
The film is excellent in West Bengal due to the local flavour but Mumbai city is also superb with second week numbers likely to come in better than big films like Bodyguard, Ra.One, Rockstar and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Single screen circuits like Bihar, CI and Rajasthan are average but very steady.
The Mumbai circuit lifetime distributor share will be a huge 9 crore and in West Bengal it is a roaring hit and can do around 2.25 crore (For comparison Ready was 2.50 crore and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 2.15 crore).
