Looks like its going to be a frame by frame remake. Good thing it is thing directed by same director.
Shahid seems to be acting well. He is usually good in roles somewhat similar to this (Udta Punjab, Haider, Kaminey) but I don’t think he will be as good as Vijay Devarkonda was in Arjun Reddy. He was on a completely different level with his height and personality. Also that was the first movie of his I watched.
Haven’t watched the original so this would be original for me.
Shahid’s role looks similar to his Tommy Singh role from Udta Punjab. He usually nails dark roles like these.
