John Abraham to join SRK – Farah Khan reunion movie?

In Bollywood the show must go on and no one seems to understand it better than King Khan himself. The scuffle between Shah Rukh and Farah Khan’s husband that made headlines sometime ago is all in the past now.

The king Khan has reunited with his closest buddy, Farah Khan and Red Chillies Entertainment’s stalled project Happy New Year is back on track. Directed by Farah Khan this movie has Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead. And now, the happy reunion of the two got even better as Hindustan Times reported that John Abraham is also on board on the project and is likely to play a meaty role in the film.

A source told the newspaper that “Farah has promised John a major part in her film. The two share a Parsi connection, and Farah is known to be very fond of him.”

This will be Shah Rukh’s first film with John Abraham. The two had previously together for a soft drink commercial.

Happy New Year was initially scheduled to release immediately after Om Shanti Om and Amitabh had a major role to play as well. The female leads were likely to be played by Katrina Kaif or Kareena Kapoor.

But it all came to a standstill after Shah Rukh khan got into a tiff with Farah’s husband. Although the rift between the two seemed irreconcilable at first, if media reports are to be trusted, they have patched up quite well.

Lets just hope its a happy year for the two with their upcoming release.
