Great interview.Good to see zoya thinks that much behind ever scene.Didnt knew those guys shown in LBC opening credits are real workers.I think her znmd opening credit was also very good.Hirani had good opening credits in 3 idiots and LRMB.

one of the best opening credits ever from Rocky 3.The theme “eye of the tiger” presented brilliantly here.

Had completely forgot about the opening credit sequence from LBC. Its nice to see interviews like this and find out from the director their reasoning for a particular scene or why they chose a particular actor (Ashutosh’s Swades interview).

ZNMD opening credits are very good too showing the contrasting personalities of the different characters especially Hrithik’s and Farhan’s.

Wow loved the interview. I like “Who cares” attitude a lot! For a first time director making LBC isn’t an easy one. LBC was a gem of a movie. Its very difficult to bring the insider news of film industry, how they react to each other, their superstition all in cinematic format.

Loved it a lot. Thanks sputnik for bringing it here.

The best opening scene for me is of LIFE IN A METRO. Just when it starts you are served with a terrific background score and then there’s ShilpaShetty sending off her daughter to school in a rainy mumbai, then there’s Kangana and Konkana as room-mates. Konkana has coffee in her hand is she is waking up Kangana for office. You have SHiney Ahuja on railway station discussing to his agent for getting him job in Dubai. There’s Irrfan Khan in a rickshaw putting his eye on a girl’s opened leg just in a rickshaw side to his. Konkana waiting in a coffee shop for someone. Then there’s Sharman finding place under Kangana’s umbrella. Imagine all this happening within a terrific music score. I just loved it.

You are welcome. I liked LBC except for the ending. If she had gone for a Happy Ending it would have probably done better at Boxoffice.

Thanks for mentioning the LIfe in a Metro scene. Its very good and I am posting it here.

I liked the opening sequence of LBC (now that I think about it) but I do not find it memorable. Its only because of this post that I even thought about it. Also her non stop talking just put me off.
