Could have been better.
Vidyut seemed more raw in dialogue delivery. Here they are showing us computer graphics ahead of the kick. That is kind of stupid.
But I am happy that such an hero is entering the film industry. I dont have much hopes from this film. But going ahead wish to see him and Vidyut in same film and with a good script and director.
Even Jackie for that matter didnt had good dialogue delivery but relied more on intense looks and his heavy voice.
He is Jackie minus the mustache + Bass here.
The guy has good screen presence nonetheless and is not irritating like some recent heroes.
i think commando 2 should have vidyut and tiger in the lead roles. it will be a feast for real action fans. the villian in commando 2 was a nobody in action. this casting will make for a really interesting action sequences

I dont think such a personality could have been good to launch in a romantic film like this. Sajid Nadiwala (whatever) seems to be too regressive.
Someone else should have launched him. And not in this lover boy style thing. PLot seems too baah here, like 80s revisited.
this is typical and a big problem with all bw directors.when they think of making a film especially debut film, tey throw the kitchen sink at it. they will ad everything from gay dancing around mountains, cheesy songs and one liners , loud fat villians and to outdated matrix style figting. i once thought that tiger should have debuted as the villian in d3 but that time i did not know its story was of 80s twin brothers angle. i thought it was going to be about a robber who has gymnastic background. now dhoom villians generally dont speak much and they are not required to dance around mountains , so tiger would have been fit in it
This is a really poor trailer. The lines on the screen during stunts are funny. Tiger seems to b another wooden star-son being launched.
I think Vidyut was much better in Force and Thupakki. Cudnt sit thru his Commando, but even the trailer of it was better than this. Being a Shroff he already has the backing of Nadiadwala and Aamir Khan. But doubt if he will survive in the long run.
I dont think Tiger is wooden. He just needs better director and script.

I feel the opposite. He is atleast not like 3-4 heroes (gosh i dont even remember their name from KJo/Yrf family of films) He is better than them definitely.
he is more talented than hrithik for sure. the problem with the other star sons is they are totally useless and untalented but in their self delusional mind, they are all thespians and method actors. being wooden is better than being an overactor and a wqannabe action star.
Did not like the trailer. The lines on the screen before the kicks looked stupid. Its the usual star son launch movie – a video reel showing that he can romance, dance, fight and act a bit.
Agree with Bored that Tiger looks very wooden. His dialogue delivery is bad. Kriti Shanon is bad too. To be fair to them the dialogues are pathetic. Just because they named the movie Heropanti does it have to be mentioned in every other dialogue?
Even without those lines, its typical men flying all over in slow-motion action like in another Akshay/Salman film. The voice is pretty weak, n he seems to be wearing pink lipstick when he says ‘HeroPanti karega’ scene.
where are the men flying? its only tiger shroff who is “flying” (laymans term often used by wannabes for front flips, backflips, 720 and tornado kicks) and he is “flying” for real without any cables.
you should not make typical bw love story debut film when you have such an enormous action talent like tiger shroff. it should have been an out and out actioner. slow motion should be avoided when you have a hero who can do all kinds of crazy stuff without cables. i think the action will still be worth watching. tigers dialgue delivery would have been of lesser problem if it was out and out action.

Let him achieve 1% of srk’s stardom .Then we’ll talk 😛 . Anyway I know u r very excited about shroff . As u shared his training video earlier .He looked good in that . But here he looks out of place .He don’t look like star material . IMO he won’t go far .My knowledge on action movies and stars is very limited . But Vidyut looked far better in force and commando promos .And movie looks pathetic , just like JTHJ .
let srk achieve 1% of what tiger shroff specialises in. may be srks son will some day 😉
now coming back to my comment, it wasnt a jibe . its a fact. a very long time ago in early 90s, when you were in your diapers and i used to wear chaddis, srk made his debut in dil aashna hai, an embarssing turkey of a film.deewana also came that year. try to listen to srks dialgue delivery in it before trashing someone in his first film
Style: Stealth. Do these guys even know what the word means? What’s with those lines when he’s doing those gymnastic flips (which is called ‘action’ in Bollywood language)? Any engineering student will tell that these guys have failed in engg mechanics zillion times. At least Tiger looks better than all the Bhagnanis, the Dhawans and the Roshans and countless other star sons. His dialogue delivery is somewhat wooden in some places. The actress is one of those zillion pretty faces you see in every other movie and ads these days. Will watch it on TV when it comes out only coz I love Jaggu Dada and Tiger’s debut has been hyped since last 2 years.
i saw the trailer again. those captions and slow motion in the fight is added for the trailer only. its not a part of the film. they probably wanted to introduce him with a bang as his training videos on youtube is popular among action fans. bad idea. they could have shown rushes from those training videos only instead of those silly tricks.
saw the comments on youtube and its mixed on extreme side – extreme positive and extreme negative.i think the expressions of tiger are good. he doesnt look like an overactor.there seems to be some issues with the dubbing as far as dialgue delivery goes because in some scenes, his dialgues sound fine. aqnyway he will refine with more experience and the right films
