Hate Story took a decent opening at single screens of around 30-40%.The single screen response was much better than multiplexes. Bihar, CP Berar and CI may even come out with decent first day totals.
Vicky Donor was poor at single screens. It will be interesting to see which film comes out with better first day collections as Vicky Donor has opened better in Delhi, Punjab and Bangalore while Hate Story is better in UP, Maharashtra, CP Berar and CI.
It is likely to be a close run thing unless one film shows good improvement in the evening and the other does not.
