Hate Story did well on its opening day at single screens with collections around 40-50%. The film is poor at multiplexes of metros but business outside metros be it Gujarat, UP, Nizam or CPCI was good on the first day.
Vicky Donor started poorly but picked up at metro multiplexes especially in the Delhi NCR area going from 25% to 50%. Business was not good outside Delhi NCR, Punjab, Mumbai city and Bangalore and did not pick up much. The film is likely to do well in the areas it picked up in with Delhi and Punjab leading the way due to local content.
Bittoo Boss is a poor fare with business less than 2 crore nett in its first week. The film is out of most theatres in week two. FLOP
Housefull 2 had a rock solid second week of around 30 crore nett taking its two week total to 92.50 crore nett. The film had competition from Hate Story at single screens and Vicky Donor at multiplexes in its third week but still remained largely unaffected by the two new releases.
