    Nothing new .

Liked the geekish/tomboyish ‘twist’ they have given to Parineeti’s character… Rest of the things look just about OKAY(as seen many times before).

Looking forward to a couple of good songs, a ~45-50cr nett earner(if accepted by the audience) and just maybe, some crazy comedy sequences.!

    Sputnik,
Okay now… I don’t know whether it’s happening with me only OR with everyone else but I think the orientation of TQ’s ‘comment section’ has changed.

I mean, the older comments are coming after the new ones… The ‘newer’ comments are coming first and then the older ones are appearing.

This is totally a NO-NO for me! :/

Same here Serenzy and me too didn’t like it much .I always prefer reading comments from the very beginning . Some of the times comments are like conversations. Also first few comments leads to responses ,then discussion which are fun to read. And The fun is missing in the new system . But I guess most members liked it .

Its happening for everyone. I had mentioned it yesterday that I am going to make this change.

I have moved the comments box to the top and reversed the order of the comments so that the latest comments show up at the top. Replies still show up the same way under the original comment. The reason for making this change is that if there are a lot of comments then when you click on the latest comment from sidebar it takes sometime to get to that comment. Also if you want to comment on a post you have to scroll all the way down which seems even more work and trouble on mobile phones.

So far Ritz and Dabangg_Ninja have liked it and you have hated it and cr7 has not like it. So its 2:2 now 🙂 Will see what others to have say. If lot of people hate it then I will revert it back to the way it was before.

Its good for posts with lot of comments .I think It’ll be mobile friendly .And I mostly use TQ from desktop so won’t be much of a problem for me .

The joy of reading a post and it’s subsequent comments is from Top-to-Bottom and NOT the other way round.
Eg: The very famous ‘Barfi! plagiarism’ post.. Try reading it from bottom… Will look stupid.

I mean that’s what we do on our WeChat’s, Whatsapp’s and chats, isn’t it?
And any conversation/argument moves forward in that way.

This version doesn’t hold very much appeal.

Anyways, my two bits on it.. Rest up to what others have to say.

            Agreed

Well, the joy part I agree…but its bit weird. Its an alternative thinking – seeing what others have said and then forming an opinion about it. This new style of commenting provokes a commenter to judge on his/her own on the trailer/poster/song etc.

Agree on Barfi post. Each has its plus and minus points.

is the bare back girl in the initail scene of parineeti? when did she become thin?

  7. sputnik 10 years ago

Reverted the comments back to how they were before since many seem to not have liked it or find it weird.

Looks very run of the mill types, but might end up being enjoyable. Parineeti seems to have a wacky role and seems to be doing justice to it, at least in the trailer.

Did not like the trailer. Did not even find even a single line/scene funny.

There is something odd about Siddharth Malhotra – the way he talks and his mannerisms. I think he tries to copy Amitabh and SRK but in the Ghodi scene he looks and sounds more like the TV actor Sudesh Berry who himself copies or used to copy Amitabh.

Parineeti Chopra’s role seems to be part Ishaqzaade and part Shuddh Desi Romance. She seems to be totally overacting and was very irritating in the trailer.
