Hasee Toh Phasee grossed around 3.75-4 crore nett on its first day. The collections were okay in Mumbai, Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Mysore due to the contribution of metros
The collections elsewhere remained very low with poor contributions from the mass markets. Mumbai grossed around 1.30 crore nett, Delhi/UP around 90 lakhs nett with East Punjab was 42 lakhs and Mysore should come in at 25 lakhs plus.
The contribution from the above circuits alone is 75% as places like Rajasthan, Nizam, CI etc had low collections. The film will show growth on Saturday but probably not the sort of growth that it needs to come out with a good weekend.

Hasee Toh Phasee had good growth on Saturday as it collected around 5.25-5.50 crore nett on Saturday adding to the 4 crore nett on Friday which takes the two day business to around 9.25-9.50 crore nett.
The growth on Saturday means the film has chances of putting up decent weekend figures if it can show more growth today. The growth on Saturday was all over, at some places it was inevitable as Friday was so low while metros where it was fair on day one showed very good growth.
The growth on Saturday is a solid 30-35% and if the film can repeat the same growth on Sunday then there are probably good chances of the film sustaining on Monday. The first two day business of the film is as follows.
Friday – 3.95 crore
Saturday – 5.25-5.50 crore approx

Hasee Toh Phasee had a fair weekend of around 16 crore nett as the metros recorded decent collections. The problem for the film was that it was only the really big cities that contributed well and also those with premium multiplexes.
Places in the same area had different results like Gurgaon had decent collections but Noida was comparatively less despite both being satellite towns of Delhi and both multiplex cities. This is because Gurgaon has the high end multiplexes.
The trend was pretty good over the weekend as the film grew around 35% on Saturday and a further 20% on Sunday. The business was much below Shuddh Desi Romance which was a hit film released last year with a similar cast and budget. That film had grossed 23 crore nett over its first weekend compared to the 16 crore nett of Hasee Toh Phasee.
Hasee Toh Phasee should remain steady over the weekdays but with the film just collecting in the metros it will curtail its business on the final tally. The approx business over the weekend was as follows.
Friday – 3,95,00,000
Saturday -5,35,00,000
Sunday – 6,55,00,000
TOTAL – 15,85,00,000

Hasee Toh Phasee had a decent first week of 27.50 crore nett as the metros did well. The film held up pretty well over the weekdays. Mumbai circuit grossed around 9.25 crore nett, Delhi/UP was around 6 crore nett while East Punjab was 2.70 crore nett approx
Mumbai, Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Mysore were the circuits that did well while others had low figures though they were steady with low collections on the weekdays. The film is not a huge hit but is a safe proposal
It will see a fall in the week two due to the release of Gunday though the second Friday could be reasonably steady due to Valentines Day. The lifetime business of the film should finish around 35 crore nett.
