Today is the birthday of Henry Winkler who played Fonzie on the TV show Happy Days. Fonzie is the epitome of coolness. Quentin Tarantino had a reference to Fonzie in Pulp Fiction.
“Jules: Nobody’s gonna hurt anybody. We’re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what’s Fonzie like? Come on Yolanda what’s Fonzie like?
Yolanda: Cool?
Jules: What?
Yolanda: He’s cool. ”
Check out this scene from Happy Days. Ron Howard, director of A Beautiful Mind, is the actor playing basketball in the video.
