Well this one I saw the movie recently in a bus travel to chennai so is fresh in my mind.

Like the lyrics and the way guitar and other instruments used (not overdoing it and smooth flow, also the Singer has sung it very well)

    @Milind,

This is one my most fav of Rahman (btw he is not my most fav music director – but he was good in some films)

Looking at your above like about Bommarillu – you may check out other work by Rahman (like Vinnaithandi Varuvaya likes or Harris Jayraj romantic hits)

This one has more earthy flavor and like it because its one of the most beautiful work of Rahamn – not overdoing instruments – justyifying the lyrics….

Like the way it is filmed also.

@Serenzy – there is always a calm before the storm 😛

One shud wait before making a conclusion 😛

  11. Ritz 12 years ago

And here is another extreme of Rahman – which I like. Unlike his other heavy on synthetic / instrumental songs – mainly because – the he has used the singer well – the Singer has a range, and Rahman has used him so well.

Besides the song is so stylish and shot also beautifully.

I dont think any BW film till date ..can compete with the songs of this movie.

Are you pasting just the youtube link or the actual embed code?

You will have to paste the actual embed code the iframe code. I have some social plugin which is kind of interfering with the automatic embed with the youtube link.

      Thanks for registering.

LOL at this line “there is always a calm before the storm” 😉

      @Serenzy,

Milind and Ritz love to hate each other 😉

    Thanks Sputnik /Mod

One thing, I have disagreed with Utkal and others number of times on NG, but I must say – I dont see equally versatile, creative person in any other regional language in HIS era. (well I do listen to fair number of regional music, including north-east).

So even while, I may not like his synthetic sound – he is most talented in his generation.

Vishal Bhardwaj, Amit Trivedi and Ram Sampath are the only ones who have shown some promise since then – most promimently VB – but then he is not upto his mark which he made few years back with Maqbool/Omkara.
Kaminey was lame film and lame music – only show off. Amit trivedi also has disappointed after “Aisha” – and most importently comes across as a spin-off of ARR.
Ram Sampath has not yet disappointed – I am impressed by what he is doing with SMJ (Though most of it can be Aamir’s sense of music – “keep it simple” ).

      Just to clarify …
I was talking abt ARR in above comment’s first 2/3 lines…

Telugu actor Uday Kiran “ends life”

Telugu actor Uday Kiran committed suicide by hanging himself in his flat at Srinagar colony, Punjagutta here on Sunday night, the police said on Monday.

Kiran’s wife Vishita and neighbours rushed him to Apollo hospital at Jubilee Hills after finding his body hanging to the ceiling in a room late on Sunday night. Doctors of the hospital declared him brought dead.

Kiran was born on January 26, 1980. The 33-year-old actor got married to his long time friend Vishita on October 24 last year and ended his life 20 days ahead of his 34th birthday.

The actor was alone in his flat on Sunday night. His wife had gone to Manikonda on some personal work. She grew suspicious as Kiran was not responding to her mobile phone calls and rushed home only to find him dead.

Popular for his romantic roles in Telugu films, the actor made debut with Telugu film Chitram directed by Teja in 2000. The film became a smashing success. Some more blockbuster movies such as Nuvvu Neenu, Manasantha Nuvve and Sriram made him one of the most popular and promising stars in his early 20s.

He got engaged to the daughter of mega star and Union Minister Chiranjeevi in 2003. The proposed marriage was cancelled eventually. Kiran continued his career in films but could not secure successful films.

Tollywood heroes, directors and musicians rushed to the hospital to pay homage to the actor. Actor Srikanth expressing his shock over Kiran’s death said that the police should ascertain causes that compelled him to resort to the extreme step.

Music director Patnaik expressed his heartfelt condolences.

Telugu actress Aarthi Aggarwal passes away at 31
    Deccan Chronicle | June 06, 2015, 18.06 pm IST

Hyderabad Popular Telugu actress Aarthi Aggarwal passed away on Saturday. According to her manager Uma Shankar, the actress was pronounced dead at around 1 am in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. “One month ago, she suffered from some breathing problem and went for a minor operation. She was fine, but last night she complained of chest pain and informed her father. They took her to the hospital, but before she reached the hospital she died on the way,” said the manager.

The actress’ family is living Egg Harbour Township, a 20-minute drive to Atlanta city. This news came in as a shock to the Tollywood industry, as the actress has starred in several films with some of the biggest stars. She was one of the most bankable actresses in the 90s.

Rumour has it that the actress was overweight and wanted to get it under control and therefore opted for a liposuction treatment in the USA. However the operation was not successful.

The actress was all set to comeback to Tollywood and also announced a few projects too. Aarthi Aggarwal made her debut in the Hindi film ‘Paagalpan’ and then entered into Tollywood opposite Venkatesh in the film ‘Nuvvu Naku Nachav’. The film became a huge hit and she never looked back after that. She went on to act opposite top stars like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Prabhas.

Her marriage to Ujwal in 2007 ended in a divorce within a few weeks. After which she left India and was living with her parents.

Arti Agarwal’s debut film ‘Nuvvu Naku Nachav’ director is K Vijay Bhaskar. He says that he was shocked to hear the news of actress death. “She is an innocent actress and a hard working girl,” says the director. “After we saw the portfolio of her we met her family in Mumbai to ask her for the Telugu film,” he says. He added that everybody felt at that time that she had a long feature in Tollywood. “It is unfortunate that Arti died at very young age,” says Vijay Bhaskar.

Aarti also acted opposite Rajasekhar in the hit film ‘Gorintaku’ 2009. “She is a very much dedicated actress and never comes late for the shooting. Though we heard about her earlier, but when it comes to my film, she never shows her attitude and works hard,” says Rajasekhar. He added that she is more depending on her parents. “Whether she is a good girl and spoiled child, it is all because of her parents. She follows blindly her father and of course they always taking care of her,” says the actor. At the time of shooting also the actress spoke about her overweight. “She used to tell me about what measures she is taking for the weight loss,” says Rajasekhar. He says that many actors and actresses are into depression these days once they didn’t get any work. “Once they reached to the top position, some actors can’t bare to act in small films. Sometimes it causes mental depression for them. At that time those people need doctors and parents help,” says the actor. “I don’t know the exact death of the actress as there are many reasons. That’s the reason I want to appeal all the actors, not to worry too much if they didn’t get work,” says the actor.
