saw it on sunday night.the best rapid fire ever. mahesh bhatt rocks and emraan matched up to him.Log in to Reply
One of the best KWK episodes I have seen! The raid fire was just brutally honest. Loved both of them – they came across as people detached from the celebrity status typically associated with film stars. Emraan, especially, was fabulous.Log in to Reply
Watched just the rapid fire round and Emraan was awesome with almost every answer of his. Mahesh Bhatt was very good too. He ranked Aamir lower than all actors after Salman π probably because of their fight.Log in to Reply
i think emraan was saying few things just for shock value and to win the hamper. when asked about abhishek, he said he would want his wife but later mocked ash for being plastic. He said he doesnt watch any hindi films but he has an opinion on all of them.I think he was just showing off that he watches only hw films.Mahesh bhatt really meant what he said. He has no one to fear. he is one of those yesteryear independent filmmaker who is not bound by any star.Log in to Reply
Well he admitted himself that he is after the hamper when Karan said he is after everyone’s wives/girlfriends. One can like/want Ash for being very beautiful but at the same time its also true that she is fake/plastic.He was rapid with his answers in the “Rapid Fire” round and his answers were witty and perfect for almost all of them. He said he wanted to steal Abhishek’s wife, Ranbir’s girlfriends, Saif’s wife and SRK’s house. His potshot at Mallika was very good. His answer to Shraddha Kapoor to eat was good too.Yeah he tried to show off that he doesn’t watch Bollywood films but he could judge which actor had more talent and so on.Mahesh was good. Liked his answers about wanting to walk out of Rockstar and calling Barfi overrated film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali overrated director and Kajol overrated actress.Log in to Reply
super entertaining rapid fire round… no diplomacy, totally spontaneous – thats the way it should beLog in to Reply
Here is the Rapid Fire round for those who just want to watch that.https://www.youtube.com/embed/kwdO06lQ4JYLog in to Reply
Rapid fire round was good.Mahesh Bhatt named “my experiments with truth” for Aamir’s biography. Is it because he respects his honesty and effort towards community now? or was it in jest? I think its the former – but it was a rapid fire – so he said something. πLog in to Reply
I think it was a dig knowing their previous fight history and his naming Aamir last while rating actors. I think he was also referring to Truth aka Satya from his TV show Satyamev Jayate.Log in to Reply
I think he is mature enough now to keep grudges aside and separate acting from real life persona.Log in to Reply
So now Satyamava Jayate is ‘acting’ according to his fans ? π Agreed here. N that is the point – its a gimmick that he n his fans try to sell as ‘real’. A right message has no meaning when it comes from the wrong messenger. But then it needs brains to figure out stuff. Anyways …PS – Some need to permanently hire KAder Khan to explain everything to them – so dat they get it. No wonder Aamir loves to spoon-feed his audience with even most obvious things. However, rating Aamir below other comedy stars is kinda stupid.Log in to Reply
“But then it needs brains to figure out stuff. ”It needs heart and not brain to act in real life. Brain makes u sit and analyze and analyze and over-analyze. πLog in to Reply
With ‘heart’ one goes ass scratching on streets, peeing in front of residences and then rebuke someone for not stopping at red light. Well – so much for it.At least Salman doesnt pretend to be a social crusader. That guy does not pretend – even if he doesnt do much otherwise either.Log in to Reply
I got your point. I know you are irritated about Aamir social activism. Now stop overreacting. You are saying same thing and just pointing fingers. Do something yourself instead.Pretense or not is not important – result is. What gets one or others moving in real life is important.Log in to Reply
Its not high expectations from any superstar to expect decent public behavior or decorum and decent sensibility in his movies. The main problem is with the fanatic followers and those who are willing to oversee the obvious and support the pretense. Such pretense bear no results if that is what u seek.So stop supporting shit urself, n i will stop criticising shit. Otherwise gulp it down, and dont crib.Log in to Reply
And if you are talking about decent public behavior – then general public does not even know about that pissing pic which was posted online (including myself). It was pathetic and silly – but was just for the camera kind of pose.Too much social media addiction can lead you to over-analyze others mentality and ignore your own feelings/independent thinking/make you inactive in real life.Log in to Reply
What ‘act’??? R u a theater artist? So u think in this age of social media – a tweeter pic has limited audience? R u aware that election campaigns are being run on social media these days and are being won by those means? Which age do u live in chachaji?Anyone has the right to question corrupt politicians, or any fake social crusader. It will be a shame if no one does. Isnt Hirani’s next film abt fake godmen? Whats the difference between corrupt politicians, fake activists and fake godmen? All of them needs to be eradicated for a healthy society.Log in to Reply
I will answer one by one. I was expecting this.“What βactβ??? R u a theater artist? ”No, and I would not like to comment what I do in real.“So u think in this age of social media β a tweeter pic has limited audience? ”Yes. Not limited – but negligible. Stop using magnifying glass of media and meet real people.“R u aware that election campaigns are being run on social media these days and are being won by those means?”You are in illusion. Wake up.“Which age do u live in chachaji?”Today’s age and Now.“Anyone has the right to question corrupt politicians, or any fake social crusader. It will be a shame if no one does.”Of course everyone has. I am not opposing that.“Isnt Hiraniβs next film abt fake godmen? ”I dont know.“Whats the difference between corrupt politicians, fake activists and fake godmen?”Lots of differences. A fake Godman can use you for your “blind faith”. A fake activist can use you for his fame/fortune but not make you believe in “blind faiths” – and while its beneficial for him/her – its a big positive sign for society. I will go in discussion of Narendra Dabholkar and what is blind faith / whats not later..as its a vast topic. Comparing personal benefits of a star against exploiting society as a whole in the name of blind faith is ridiculous to say the least.“All of them needs to be eradicated for a healthy society.”Not at all. Even Gandhiji used media intelligently for the freedom fight. Using media and marketing is not a crime. Spreading corruption or blind faith is…More on this later πLog in to Reply
Unfortunately, some people are stuck in dark ages – the world has moved forward. Wake up first …Log in to Reply
True. World still believes in Babaji ki anguthi, Saibaba’s chamatkars; Rashi Bhavishya and Kundli – far more than earlier days…One new addition is Numerology which was not heard of in old days.Log in to Reply
And fang-shui /Vastu or something. So many fads of so called “young generation”. Yes world has moved forward – towards more blind faith – more madness and more darkness…more and more faith on these – the only thing is it looks fashionable now if you call it by a different name – for the time being its cool (if you are in city)[ and who cares about what happens in small towns by the way now. Social media is the in thing – all others are in stone age who havent even heard of twitter / FB etc ]Log in to Reply
At least now i know why u liked D3 … m sure u will love PK (although it will be an oxymoron with Aamir in it).Log in to Reply
Yes, just because Aamir should work in PK i have been associated with organizations against blind faith for many years.Log in to Reply
Bhaiya – Gone are days of Babaji Ki Anguthi, this is the era of Babaji Ki ‘Booty’:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah_xyj4qIvUNothing against small town India, BUT promoting toilet humor under the excuse of ‘small town mentality’ is disgusting in my books (u r free to think otherwise).Log in to Reply
No days are not gone. You are living in illusion. Wake up and see around in city itself. More blind faiths are there in city itself. It may not be identified as Babaji ki anguthi but wearing this stone / that stone fad is there even in well to do / high class ppl.Log in to Reply
